The Rules of Cheers Dinners
Our rules are designed to create a thoughtful and respectful atmosphere for genuine conversations.
1. Inclusive and Respectful Discussions
Every voice matters at the table. We aim for equal participation, where everyone feels safe to share their ideas and experiences. Listen actively and respect the diverse perspectives present.
2. Small, Intimate Groups
Dinners are intentionally kept small, usually between 8-12 people, to allow for deeper, more meaningful conversations.
3. One Conversation, No Side Talks
Unlike traditional dinners where multiple conversations happen at once, Cheers dinners maintain a single, focused conversation. This ensures unity and shared experience.
4. Guided by Purposeful Themes
Each dinner revolves around a key question or theme, designed to provoke thoughtful dialogue. Themes are shared ahead of time so you can come prepared to contribute meaningfully.
5. Mental Health Professionals Present
Every dinner is supported by mental health professionals to ensure that sensitive topics around stress, burnout, and emotional well-being are handled with care.
6. No Phones or Devices at the Table
To foster authentic connections and deep conversations, we encourage all guests to be fully present. Phones and devices should be put away during the dinner.
7. Leave Your Professional Agenda at the Door
While business challenges are discussed openly, Cheers dinners are not a place for pitching or networking. They are spaces for support and connection, not transactions.
8. Facilitated by Cheers Hosts
Each dinner is led by a Cheers Host, whose role is to guide the conversation and ensure everyone has the chance to speak. The host will also introduce discussion prompts to keep the dialogue flowing.
